Help centre · Numbers & verification
Identity verification by country
What carriers ask for differs by country. In the United States and Canada, nothing — numbers are instant. New Zealand asks for contact details and a physical address, both typed into a form, with no documents. Australia adds one document (proof of address); the United Kingdom asks for two documents plus a few typed details.
The list appears right after you buy a plan, and we email it to you too. Your plan’s days start when your number goes live, not when you pay, so nothing runs down while the paperwork is with the carrier.
After you submit, we check with the carrier every night and email you the verdict. An approval and your new number arrive as one piece of news, because to you they are one. A rejection comes with the carrier’s own reasons so you know exactly what to fix.
